Dog n’ Suds is owned and operated by Daria Holmboe, who started the company on Bowen Rd. Needing the room to grow and add Doggie Daycare she purchased the location at 2209 Wilgress Rd.
People often ask me why I decided to work with dogs. My answer quite simply is that I love them! I have always been entertained and fascinated by them so offering a place where dogs can enjoy themselves in a safe environment was the perfect way for me to spend my days with them. After our expansion from grooming and u–wash to doggy daycare and teeth cleaning, I’m proud that we are able to offer all the services that you need for your dog.

Doggie DayCare
Dog n’ Suds Pet Services, a unique Nanaimo business since 1999, has grown with the needs of our customers. We offer high quality Doggie Day Care Service. All staff have their Dogsafe training and are canine first aid certified.
We offer Nanaimo dogs a safe, supervised, fun place to play and socialize.
Supervised play includes indoor/outdoor areas, fresh water, toys, human and dog interaction, resting beds for tired dogs. A new service we include with our DayCare are brisk walks to work off the cobwebs. |
 Large, clean outside areas. Separate areas for small and large dogs. Swimming, sprinklers, games. |

Professional Grooming
We also offer the best in professional grooming. Here at Dog n’ Suds we treat your pet with gentleness and respect while performing first–rate care.
Self Serve U–Wash
We also offer a unique U–Wash service for dog owners to come to bath and dry their own pet. You provide the pet and we provide the rest.
Teeth cleaning
Dog n’ Suds offers a natural technique of Teeth Cleaning where we scale, floss, and polish your dog’s teeth which does not involve general anesthetic. This service is much different than the vet and offers preventative maintenance just like we humans need.
