Why Doggy Daycare?

Is your dog lonely when you leave for work?

Does your house look like it was ransacked when you get home?

Housebreaking problems?

Does your dog think you are his chew toy?

How much did that sofa and carpet cost?

Is your dog bouncing off the walls when you get home?

Are your neighbors complaining about noise?

Do you want your dog to be social with other dogs?

..........how about with people?

If the answer is yes to any of these questions, then doggy daycare could be just the ticket for your human/dog relationship

.

Our goal at DOG n’ SUDS is to provide a safe, fun and stimulating social environment for dogs during weekday business hours.

Daycare can help prevent or alleviate behavioural problems such as digging, chewing, house soiling, aggression, barking and undirected energy. So if your neighbours are complaining, or if you would like some help in managing your dog’s time, DOG n’ SUDS DAYCARE could be the answer for you.

Daycare Benefits:

build a positive social behavior

increased confidence with people and other dogs

Gain peace of mind that your dog is safe & happy while you are away during the day

Besides the training benefits, daycare is FUN! Your dog will enjoy a variety of activities while in our care.

While at daycare, your dog will be reminded of appropriate manners around people and other dogs.

Positive socialization is encouraged and practiced. Your dog will return home well exercised and stress-free from romping with his other dog friends.

After all, we cannot keep up to our dogs like another dog can. Your dog will be happily tired and ready for a quiet evening when you return home.

Puppy Daycare
The Dog n’ Suds daycare facility has all the essential features needed for puppy daycare - It is equipped with indoor space for rambunctious dog play, an outdoor toilet area to keep housetraining skills fresh, an additional outdoor play area, professional staff who monitor the dogs at all times and who will alert you to potential behaviour problems early on.

Our dog trainer will help for working on specific behaviours.  Needless to say, a daycare that uses crates in its daily operations is not providing your puppy an opportunity to practice his social skills.

Puppy Daycare is one of our specialties!

Dog n’ Suds does not crate dogs as part of the normal daycare routine. If you plan to choose other daycares ask to see the facility before you need to use it.  We at Dog n' Suds welcome your visit and your questions.

How to get started & Who can play?

Call and request an "interview"

Here are a few simple requirements that will ensure optimal fun and safety for all canine campers at Dog n' Suds Day Care!

Prior to the first visit, the Pet Profile form will be completed during a brief but very important personal interview to ensure that dog daycare is a "good fit". What are we looking for? Not much .... Essentially, just to see that your dog is:

People-friendly
Dog-friendly
Non-possessive of toys
Non-territorial of space
All canine clients should be:
In generally good health
At least 12 weeks of age
Spayed or neutered ( at 6 months or older)
Up-to-date on all vaccinations including-
Rabies
DHLPP
Bordatella
Parvo
On a scheduled flea & tick prevention program

Proof of the above must be presented during the interview.

Finally, the Standard Agreement is thoroughly reviewed by you and Dog 'n Suds and signed.

Harley can hardly wait for Denise to bring him in so he can play with "his gang".
